Geode is made from red glass, copper foil, and 50/50 lead/tin solder and comes with a plug in LED light and stand. Geode was created through a meditative process of selecting, cleaning, and soldering the broken red glass into the form while thinking about the broken bits of psyche (both my own and society at large's) that also need cleaning and careful placement and assembly. This piece was included in my recent solo show Holding Pattern.
